Indoctrination in Your State & District

Superintendent and School Board Radical Leftists

Sun Prairie Area School District, Wisconsin

Story:

Hello,
After a year of arguing with the school district about the BLM support on public school signs, I emailed Bradford Saron, the Sun Prairie School District superintendent, on May 19th regarding CRT and the 1619 Project. He was very careful about his response and initially emailed to say he needed some time to respond. Clearly he's another liberal in a position of power trying to hide behind nuance. e.g. We don't teach Critical Race Theory, we teach Cultural Responsive Training. Here is his response:

-Critical Race Theory taught in Sun Prairie Schools

Critical Race Theory is not part of our curriculum. We do use Culturally Responsive Teaching practices as one way to address issues of racial inequity in our schools. Our standards and teaching practices follow our district mission and equity statement.

- 1619 Project taught in Sun Prairie Schools

This document is not expressly cited in our curriculum. Certain parts of this Pulitzer Prize winning article may be used in supplementary activities.

- Discrimination against able-bodied, heterosexual, white males above the poverty line promoted in Sun Prairie Schools

The Sun Prairie Area School District has a number of statements about discrimination:

Nondiscrimination Statement

Board Preamble and Equity Statement

- Marxism taught in Sun Prairie Schools

This theory may be covered for historical perspective in appropriate social studies, history, or politics classes.

- Patriotism and support of our country's founders and founding documents taught in Sun Prairie Schools

The Pledge of Allegiance is recited daily. All students are required to pass the state mandated Civics test before graduation. The class “Foundations of American Democracy” is required for graduation. We also offer AP Government, AP US History, and AP Macro/Micro Economics as classes. Founding documents are used as primary source documents in history and government classes. Freedom Walls have been installed in all schools, which include the founding documents.

Hopefully this is helpful for other parents to see what they're really doing.

We have sold our house and moved to a rural school district. I plan to be as involved with the board and superintendent as possible. Thank you for everything you guys are doing.
