This school lies and says it doesn't teach critical race theory. Well, read their graduation requirements. It's on their website! They are teaching this garbage to first graders! Sick! They made my son read Kendi. They told him he is an oppressor because he is white. They bully him because he stands up for his beliefs. I'm talking about his teachers.

Graduation Expectations for Jefferson County Open School:

“Students will develop critical thinking skills and expand their perspectives on U.S. and world history, geography, civics, and economics through multiple lens, including social justice and intersectionality, in order to become responsible global citizens.”
