Pennsylvania Elementary School Training Introduces Kindergarteners to Transgenderism
West Chester, Oct 17, 2022 — Earlier today, No Left Turn in Education (NLTE) broke this story via The Daily Caller, after obtaining public records showing that on August 24, Fern Hill Elementary School in West Chester, PA, hosted a teacher training, titled “An Intro to LGBTQ Education” and facilitated by Aneesah Smith, who per her website, has been in Social Justice Advocacy & Activism for over 12 years. Aneesah describes herself as a “queer, Christian, cisgender, woman of color” and is currently the Director of Diversity Equity & Inclusion at Penn State Abington.
The training teaches how to “differentiate between sex, gender and sexuality, and categorize examples.” It also includes lessons for grades K-2nd on Understanding Gender Expression using the book Jacob’s New Dress, and a note to teachers about helping young children hide things from their parents.
The training also instructs teachers to evaluate students based on whether they “are using the term gender expression and if they understand the meaning of the word”, and to assess students on their “behavior around gender expression” throughout the school year.
We must ask why our children are being assessed on social behaviors when they have not even gotten caught up from the colossal learning loss due to the unnecessary school shutdowns imposed on them by career politicians and the teachers’ unions?
