English class uses CRT propaganda as a text
Rye City School District, New York

Story:
In Rye Middle School and 8th grade English class recently used the following as a reading material:
https://theconversation.com/what-is-food-insecurity-152746
The article is a prime example of CRT in K-12 education - an uncritical statement of beliefs, peppered with newspeak terms, designed to confuse the children and provide emotional response by combining the issue discussed with a term that has strong negative connotation. e.g. "Food apartheid".
The teacher was a member of the superintendents racial task force. The follow up questions are guiding 13 year olds in internalizing CRT concepts.
