In a 3rd grade geography assignment, the social studies teacher defined race as follows: "a group of people with shared physical and behavioral qualities; used by people in power to separate and harm others".

This is a definition that promotes racial essentialism of "shared behavioral qualities" and brings in the CRT notions of power structures.
