"5. Embedded Approach We will embed equity actions into all aspects of the district.
6. Intersectional Lens We will honor the complex and beautiful identities of our community by
addressing inequities in a way that incorporates the multiple dimensions of diversity and stays
attentive to the compounding of inequities.
7. “Nothing about us without us.” We will seek guidance and partnership from those most
impacted by inequities and marginalization.
8. Sociocultural and Sociopolitical Awareness We acknowledge that the system of public
education does not exist in isolation and we must be attentive to the broader context of inequity.
9. Frame of Structural Inequities We will use a frame of historical and structural inequity and an
equity lens to critically examine data."

Jeffco School creates a climate of fear and discrimination against those who are not ideologically pure.
